Message
Since our foundation in 1936, our Company has grown for more than eight decades to be recognized as a trading company specialized in textile business. This could be achieved thanks to you who have been always supporting us. We would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to you.
Under a new management scheme launched in 2022, in which we cultivate a new era, observing our history and tradition fostered by our predecessors, we have been promoting various innovation, including reforming organization and system, without being constrained by any past practice or old customs.
For the purpose of establishing a business structure to respond to the times, we tie up with the business partners who can share values with us going beyond the framework of conventional industry or business type, based on mutual trust, to further strengthen our existing business. In addition to that, we strive for growing new business, such as development of materials with high function, and merchandise planning in new fields, to build a business expanding to the global market.
In the business environment changing momentarily through diversification of values, market segmentation, and rapid and evolutionary changes due to digitization in the social environment, we take flexible and quick approaches, to pursue to enhance our corporate value. | 1936 | Started Mitsui Shoten dealing with various fabric by Founder Shiro Mitsui at Yariya-machi, Osaka, doing export business to China and to South-East Asian countries, as well as domestic trade. |

Keisuke Mitsui – Profile
Keisuke Mitsui was born in 1972 in Hyogo Prefecture.
He graduated in Business Administration from Konan University, and after working at Toyo Menka Kaisha, Ltd., he joined TOKO SHOJI in 1999, when he moved to Boston for study.
Since the year of 2000, he studied at Hofstra University in New York, where he obtained an MBA. In 2002, he started working at HY Consulting New York.
In 2004, he was appointed to Managing Director at TOKO SHOJI.
In 2005, he took office as Executive Director.
In 2007, he took office as Managing Director.
After being appointed to Executive Vice President in 2010, he took office as President and Representative Director in June 2017.
